NEW LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY

In May of 2011 the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats - Harris County was chartered as a Chapter working under the authority of the State Organization of Texas Coalition of Black Democrats.

The purpose of this organization shall be:

  • To stimulate in African Americans an active interest in governmental affairs

  • To facilitate the participation of African Americans in the Democratic Party

  • To perpetuate the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party

  • To attract new members to the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats - Harris County Chapter

  • To help acquaint voters and potential voters with the issues and candidates/elected officials

  • To promote by our efforts the highest degree of governmental response to public need
